Specifications of Welding Wires

Submerged arc welding is one of the types of arc welding, in which the electrode tip is inserted into the special flux of inorganic materials by which the arc is formed beneath the powder and along the welding line.

Welding wire (depending on the alloy type) is covered by a copper and produced in rolls of spools (25Kg) in different sizes and then packed in vacuum. Welding wires can be used along with respective welding fluxes and used in various industries such as industrial sheds, steel structures, shipbuilding, sea platofrms, railways, etc.

This type of welding wire is manufactured according to AWS.A5.17، ISO 14171، EN 756 and DIN 8557 standards in various sizes of 2.4, 3.2, 4  and 5. This product is suitable for carbon-manganese and low alloy welding applications. This product can be used in accordance with SF-870, SF-970 and SF-770 welding fluxes for applications such as metal structures, high pressure tanks, power plants, wind turbines, etc.
